Additional Resources and Services for Child Care Providers:
- Referrals to your program.
- Assistance in
starting new child care programs, and technical aid in all
aspects of opening and operating a child care home or center,
including applying for a license, fingerprinting, information
about laws, taxes, parent-provider contracts, insurance, health
and safety, and program ideas.
- A free resource
library consisting of toys, books, video
tapes and an activity and resource file.
In addition, for providers contracted with RIVER TO COAST CHILDREN'S SERVICES Family Child Care program, we offer the
following services:
- Material help in
setting up a child care home (equipment such as easels, cubbies,
car seats, etc., on long-term loan).
- Counseling consultation for
providers, parents and children in child care homes.
- Regular visits
from Child Development Resource Specialists who bring an enrichment
program to children in the home and assist the provider in
planning a developmentally appropriate children's
program to providers.
