- Information on how to choose quality child care.
- Assistance in paying for child care for low income parents who are working, students, looking for work, medically incapacitated, referred for child's protective needs, and homeless families.
- Comprehensive referrals to other family services in Sonoma County, including free and low cost health care, dental care, mental health counseling, child abuse prevention, and food, clothing, and housing assistance.
- Assistance with complaints about child care providers.
- Classes, support groups, workshops, and handout information on parenting, nutrition, CPR, first aid, health, and other family-related topics.
- A Community Counseling Program, providing therapy and support to children and parents on a sliding scale basis.
- Activities and special events for children, including Kindergym (Mondays and Tuesdays 9:45-12:20) , field trips, activity workshops, seasonal celebrations, and special events for kids.
- A regular newsletter which has information about community workshops, events and
activities, health, safety, nutrition, parenting advice, children's
issues and legislation, and more.
- A Car Seat program and a Lending Library of books and video tapes about family related concerns.
- Trustline registry referral services to provide background checks of child care providers.
- Advocacy on behalf of children on the local, state, and national levels.
- Child care statistics and related information.
